What is Africa to Me?

While reading this poem, it gave me the advantage of seeing their world in my own point of view. It allowed me to put myself where the story may or may not have taken place and just feel what they felt. There were a lot of parts in this poem where I could literally picture myself standing there and being inside the story, doing the things they might've done.

To me, Africa is where all things began. It is filled with a wide variety of cultures and melanin beauty. Some people would see Africa as some far-off place that nobody would want to be because of what some people have to experience while there, but I see it as the beginning of my life no matter where I was born or where I grew up.
